Grommet Isolators

Grommet isolator is a physical isolation device used for electrical connections, whose core function is to achieve electrical isolation between different parts of the circuit through mechanical structure, to ensure safety, prevent interference, and improve system reliability. It usually consists of a ring-shaped structure (cable ring) with insulation material, installed at the opening where the cable passes through the panel or shell, which can both fix the cable and ensure electrical insulation.

Vibration isolation: Blocking the transmission of the equipment's own vibration to the outside (for example, motor vibration does not affect the frame), or the transmission of external vibration to the interior of the equipment (for example, road bumps do not affect automotive electronic components).

Impact buffering: Absorb instantaneous impact energy (such as equipment drop, mechanical start-stop impact), and protect fragile components (such as sensors, glass casings);

Component protection: When placed on cables or conduits, it can prevent direct friction between components and metal casings, reducing wear and noise.

Sealed dust-proof/water-proof: Some models with sealed structures can be embedded in the gaps of the equipment shell to prevent dust and liquids from entering the interior (such as outdoor lamps, car door panels).

Noise reduction assistance: By reducing the transmission of vibration, it indirectly lowers the structural noise caused by vibration (such as the "buzzing sound" during equipment operation).
