Key parameters for selection
When choosing a rubber flexible interlayer installation seat, the following core parameters should be matched in combination with the actual working conditions to avoid shock absorption failure or damage to the installation seat due to improper selection
Rated Load (Load Capacity): The maximum weight that the mounting base can stably bear for a long time. It should be selected based on the weight of the equipment (it is generally recommended that the equipment weight be 70%-90% of the rated load to avoid overloading or insufficient load which may lead to a decrease in shock absorption effect).
Static compression amount (static Deflection): the compression amount of the rubber layer under rated load - the larger the compression amount, the better the shock absorption effect is usually, but it is necessary to avoid exceeding the elastic limit of the rubber (otherwise permanent deformation will occur).
Natural Frequency: The vibration frequency of the installation base itself, which needs to be staggered from the vibration frequency of the equipment (or the external impact frequency) (usually, the natural frequency should be lower than 1/√2 of the equipment's vibration frequency to avoid resonant amplification of vibration).
Temperature Range: The temperature resistance limit of rubber materials, which needs to be matched with the application environment (for example, the temperature resistance of nitrile rubber is approximately -40 ℃ to 120℃, suitable for conventional industrial environments; the temperature resistance of silicone rubber can reach -60 ℃ to 200℃, suitable for high and low temperature scenarios).
Environmental tolerance: Select rubber materials that are oil-resistant (such as for construction machinery), chemically resistant (such as for chemical equipment), and aging-resistant (such as for outdoor equipment) based on the scenario.
Installation dimensions and interfaces: Ensure that the dimensions of the rigid layer, the position/number of bolt holes match the equipment base and installation foundation to avoid installation deviations.
