Types of Molded Parts
The molded parts produced by our company mainly include the following types:
Molded Plastic Sleeve
Molded plastic sleeve is a type of plastic component formed in a mold through high pressure and high temperature, known for its high strength, high insulation, heat and chemical resistance, and excellent dimensional stability.
Molded Plastic Impeller
Plastic impellers are the core components in rotating machinery such as pumps, fans, blowers, mixers, or mixers. Their function is to transfer energy to fluids (liquids or gases) through rotation, thereby achieving purposes such as pumping, circulation, ventilation, and cooling.
Molded Plastic Slider
The principle is to place preheated plastic raw materials (usually in powder, granular, or fibrous form) into a heated mold cavity, then close the mold and soften, flow, and fill the cavity under high temperature and pressure.

Advantages of Molded Parts
Durability
One big advantage of molded parts is that it affords enhanced product design and manufacturing. The precision with which you can place inserts into a mold design cannot be achieved with other molding processes.
Weight
Plastic parts can be up to 50 percent lighter than their metal counterparts. This, combined with strength, is one of the primary reasons that industries are turning to plastic molding for parts.
Economical
Molded parts achieves cost savings in two ways. First, they allow the use of much cheaper materials. In general, resins are much more affordable than metals.
Efficiency
Molded parts eliminates a second assembly step in the manufacturing process. The insertion of metal or other components is integrated with the molding step, so there is no need for a stand-alone task.
Variety of Materials
Molded parts can use many different types of plastic resins in the process. These including thermoplastics, which are eco-friendly since you can recycle them.
Variety of Designs
Besides materials, molded parts allows many different types of shapes and designs for its parts. This is often not achievable using metals.
Molded Parts Molding Process Steps
Material Preparation
Plastic pellets are loaded into the hopper, which feeds them into the barrel. Inside the barrel, the reciprocating screw melts the pellets using heat and friction while ensuring uniform mixing.
Injection
The molten plastic is pushed forward by the screw under high pressure and forced through the nozzle into the mold cavity. The clamping unit ensures the mold halves are tightly sealed to prevent leaks.
Filling and Venting
The molten plastic flows through the sprue, runners, and gates, filling every part of the mold cavity. Trapped air escapes through mold vents, ensuring a flawless part.
Cooling and Holding
The mold is kept at a constant temperature to cool the plastic evenly. Holding pressure is applied to prevent backflow and control material shrinkage as the part solidifies.
Ejection
Once the plastic has cooled and hardened, ejector pins push the part out of the mold. The platen opens to release the finished part.
Repeat
More pellets are automatically fed into the hopper to start the next cycle. The process repeats in a continuous loop, enabling high-speed, efficient production.
