Toroidal (Ω-shaped) Bellows

The toroidal (Ω -shaped) bellows is a flexible pressure vessel with a circular ring structure and is often used in high-pressure applications. Compared with traditional U-shaped corrugated pipes, they exhibit lower stress caused by internal pressure, longer fatigue life and better resistance to pressure instability. The characteristic of the annular corrugated pipe is that its shell is circular and has a moderate slenderness ratio (length-to-diameter ratio), which enables it to bend more effectively and distribute stress.

High elasticity and flexibility: Rubber material itself has excellent elasticity. Combined with the Ω -shaped corrugated structure, it can achieve significant axial, lateral or angular displacement compensation (the compensation amount is usually greater than that of metal corrugated pipes).

Vibration and noise reduction: It can absorb the vibration and shock during the operation of pipelines or equipment, reduce noise transmission, and protect the stability of the system.

Good sealing performance: Rubber has strong sealing performance and can effectively prevent medium leakage (both gas and liquid are applicable) within the low to medium pressure range.

Corrosion resistance (depending on the material): By choosing the appropriate rubber material, it can withstand the corrosion of water, weak acids, weak alkalis, oils and other media.

Lightweight and low cost: Compared with metal corrugated pipes, it is lighter in weight, has a lower manufacturing cost, and is easier to install.

Civil water supply and drainage system: It is used at the inlet and outlet of water pumps and at pipeline turns to compensate for displacement caused by water temperature changes or installation errors, and to reduce vibration and noise.

HVAC system: Connects air conditioning units with pipelines, absorbs the vibration during equipment operation, and compensates for the thermal expansion and contraction displacement of pipelines.

Automobiles and construction machinery: As flexible connectors for cooling water pipes and fuel pipes, they can adapt to the vibration and displacement of the engine or chassis (mostly oil-resistant nitrile rubber is used).

Low-pressure industrial pipelines: such as pipelines used in the chemical and food industries for transporting media at normal temperature and with weak corrosiveness (corresponding corrosion-resistant rubber materials need to be matched).

Bathroom equipment: Connect the water inlet pipes of devices such as toilets and water heaters, providing flexible connections for convenient installation and maintenance.
