Silicone O Ring Seal

Silicone (VMQ) O-rings are composed of silicon, oxygen, hydrogen, and carbon. It is an elastic seal made from organic silicon as raw material, which is widely used in scenarios with high requirements for environmental protection, hygiene, and temperature adaptability due to its excellent high and low temperature resistance, biocompatibility, and insulation. It has significant differences from the strong corrosion and high temperature and high pressure positioning of fluororubber (FKM) O-rings, and has good flexibility and compression permanent deformation performance, but is not resistant to acid, extreme pressure oil, fuel, gear oil, ketones, and benzene. In addition, it has low tensile strength and poor wear resistance, making it unsuitable for dynamic applications.
