PS Vacuum Formed Parts

PS vacuum formed parts are products made from polystyrene (PS) sheets through vacuum forming technology, which have flame retardant, UV resistant and other properties, and support recycling and reuse.

Material (PS): usually refers to high impact polystyrene (HIPS). It adds rubber components on the basis of general-purpose polystyrene (GPPS), significantly improving toughness and impact resistance, while retaining the original advantages of high rigidity, easy processing, and low cost of PS. It is one of the most commonly used materials in vacuum forming.

Process (vacuum forming): a hot forming process. After heating and softening the plastic sheet, the pressure difference generated by vacuuming is used to make it adhere to the surface of the mold, and after cooling, it forms a part that matches the shape of the mold.

Packaging field: Suitable for food packaging (such as beverages, candies) and dairy product packaging. ‌
Electronic field: used for anti-static electronic product trays. ‌
